IdeaTwister (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a digital product sold as a one-time purchase through LemonSqueezy. The product is a locally-run agentic system for founders and indie hackers.

This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in connection with our website (ideatwister.com) and the purchase of the IdeaTwister product.

Purchase information: When you buy IdeaTwister via LemonSqueezy, LemonSqueezy collects your payment details (email address, payment method). We receive your email address to fulfill your digital download. We do not store credit card numbers - LemonSqueezy handles all payment processing.

Website analytics: We may use privacy-respecting analytics (e.g. aggregate page view counts, referral sources) to understand how people discover IdeaTwister. These analytics do not identify individual visitors and do not use persistent tracking cookies.

Contact communications: If you contact us via email with a support request or question, we retain that correspondence to respond and resolve your inquiry.

Your business ideas. IdeaTwister processes all ideas locally on your machine. Nothing you type into the /ideatwister command is transmitted to our servers - it goes directly to Anthropic's API via your own API key.

Usage data or telemetry. We do not embed any tracking or telemetry in the IdeaTwister product. We have no visibility into how many times you run it, which ideas you submit, or what outputs it generates.

Account data. There are no IdeaTwister accounts. You do not register, log in, or maintain a profile with us.

The limited data we receive is used solely to:

• Fulfill your digital download after purchase
• Send your receipt and order confirmation (via LemonSqueezy)
• Respond to support or refund requests you initiate
• Understand aggregate traffic patterns on our website (no personal identification)

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

LemonSqueezy acts as the merchant of record for all purchases. They process payments and manage digital delivery. Their privacy policy governs data collected during checkout: lemonsqueezy.com/privacy ↗

Anthropichandles API calls made during your local IdeaTwister runs. Your use of the Claude API is governed by Anthropic's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We have no access to those API calls.

Our website may use minimal, essential cookies (e.g. for security or session management). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser at any time without affecting your ability to purchase or download IdeaTwister.

We retain your email address (as the purchaser) for as long as necessary to support your access to the product and respond to refund requests within our 7-day guarantee window. Support correspondence is retained for up to 12 months.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email listed below. We will respond within 30 days.

IdeaTwister is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy if our data practices change materially. When we do, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the product after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
